DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19 IN ORDER TO BE A CAMPER IN 2024?

NO. However, your child’s Vaccination Record is required on an official Certificate of Immunization from one the following states: Colorado, Alabama, Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington. If your child’s vaccination record is from a different state or country, please print the Colorado Certificate of Immunization at this link. Copy your child’s immunization record by hand onto the Colorado form and submit it to our office.

IS A MORNING HEALTH CHECK REQUIRED?

You and your child will also be asked verbally by CMR bus personnel, “How are you feeling today?” Check your child's health and temperature every morning before you leave home. The temperature must be below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have any concerns, or your child has any symptoms of sickness of any kind DO NOT send your child to Camp and immediately notify the Camp Office at 303-442-4557 or office@coloradomountainranch.com

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR EARLY REGISTRATION OR MULTIPLE CHILDREN IN A FAMILY FOR 2024?

Sorry, no. We are unable to offer discounts due to limited capacity and reserved bus seats for safe seating and personal cubbies.

ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2023 SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS?

There is limited scholarship funding for AMERICAN INDIAN FAMILIES, MARSHALL FIRE HOME LOSS FAMILIES, AND LOCAL GOLD HILL FAMILIES. The Camp Registration form includes directions and also includes the scholarship application. To learn more, visit our How To Register page.​

WHAT SHOULD CAMPERS BRING?

All Campers - Everyday!

All campers and teen leaders need to bring or wear the following:

- Long pants

- Socks and closed-toe shoes (no sandals or crocs)

- Jacket or sweatshirt (no matter how hot it is Boulder)

- Rain jacket (to stay warm and dry outdoors in chilly, wet mountain weather)

- Full water bottle (fresh water refills always available)

- Personal sunscreen (marked with camper’s name)

- Lunch and at-least 2 snacks (needs to be refreshed and have a new cold pack daily)

- Daypack (for keeping all of their belongings)

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME!

Western Riders & Wranglers-in-Training* - Everyday!

- Everything on the "All Campers" list above AND

- Rain pants (no ponchos, they can scare the horses)

- Hands-free water bottle with a clip or tie to attach to the saddle

- Long pants

- Long socks

*If you have a helmet or boots that you would like to use, please label them with your camper's name to keep in the barn for the week. We also provide and disinfect camp helmets between uses.
