Valerie Arnold

Counselor

CMR staff since 2009

Valerie has spent the last three and a half years in St. Petersburg, FL, where she finished her degree in Environmental Science and Policy and International studies in 2017. She hopes to pursue her passion for working with people from many cultures towards a more sustainable future to save the planet!

Valerie’s plan to make the world a better place is to take care of the planet. “Whether it be picking up a random piece of trash, refusing a plastic bag or straw, consuming foods that are more sustainable, participating in a beach clean up, planing a tree, there is something that can be done everyday to make the world a better place.” She hopes to work with children and adults to bring awareness to the threats to our planet and what we can do to make changes for the better.

Valerie says, “I’m ecstatic! Stoked! Hyped! Enthused! Euphoric! I have not been to CMR in seven years and I have never been more excited to be a part of this community!”

Valerie’s favorite part of Nature is EVERYTHING! “The smell, the sounds, the silence, animals, trees, dirt beneath my feet, being one with the Earth.”
