I would like to say THANK YOU ALL for the wonderful experiences you have shared with my son the last 2 weeks. He has absolutely loved everything about the camp. He’s exhausted, filthy and happy at the end of each day!

Focus Camps

Choose a Focus!

Focus campers combine activity periods to spend the equivalent of half-day each day in their specialty area.

Who ... Focus Camps are an option for boys and girls ages 10-16, except for Water!, which is our new Focus Camp open to 7-15 year olds.  If you have attended the Mountain Adventure Day Camp Program and discovered your special interest area, or if you are new to The Colorado Mountain Ranch, yet have a feeling about what you want to do most, then Focus Camp is for you!

What ... Half of each camp day is full of your enrolled Focus activities. The specialized staff guides you through a progressive curriculum at your own pace. In all Focus Programs, the day rounds out with team challenges at the Ropes Course and other chosen camp activities with your group.

When ... All Focus Camps are offered during every session throughout the summer.

Experiences on the team-building Challenge Ropes Course build the framework for individual and group dynamics within the camp community. The personal and social values gained through 'Challenge' experiences project beyond camp into life at home and school. For more 'Challenge' details click Ropes Course, above.

NOW!  Younger ages for 2010: All Focus Camps (except CIT's)  are open to 10-year-olds and Water! Focus is for 7-9 year-olds, too!
