Mitch Glatzel

Beloved counselor Mitch will return this summer for his second season on staff. He has had a very exciting year, as he has started school in Quincy, California, to study Outdoor Recreation and Leadership. He’s also been doing lots of hiking, skiing, river rafting, and kayaking.

Mitch’s plan to make the world a better place is to give everyone a high-five so they can smile a little bit. He also believes that if everyone had access to clean pizza, life would be way more enjoyable.

Mitch says, “The excitement I find when coming back to camp is like discovering that my roommate baked a cake, and she is letting me have some. I couldn’t be more excited to eat cake. I am positively jubilant for the cake.”

Mitch’s favorite part of nature is mountains. “Mountains are just big rocks for climbing!”
